You'll have seen my write-up on the main site about this car (if not you can do so here). Who here aside from me wants one?

What i love the most about this car is that it manages to cover every single base and tick every single box. It's attractive, it's noticeably faster than a Golf GTi - both in speed and handling, it's got an expensive and luxurious feel inside (especially the GT model), and it's practical with a fairly big boot and seats in the back. It's also not too bad on fuel - even the most powerful, thirstiest model will do about 36mpg. Though not by driving it the way I would.

Opinions?

What do you drive? What car would you like to drive?

I drive a Peugeot 206. Not the fastest or the best looking, but not bad for a first car.

My next car will either be a Jaguar XKR (don't laugh; you can pick one up for less than £10k) or a VW Scirocco GT. Gorgeous cars the both of them.

Ash on Driven Magazine UK Forum Rules

Welcome to Driven Magazine UK Forums. We hope you enjoy your time here. These forums are here to air your views and opinions. With that comes some ground rules to make sure that everybody's happy (and to make sure we don't get pure idiocy on the forums!)

1. No Flaming
Don't attack other users offensively, even if you think it's a bit of fun. "I was only joking!" will not excuse you. Similarly, writing in a manner designed to provoke or antagonise others will constitute as a breach of this rule. Play nice.

2. No Spam
No, we don't want to enter a draw to win a cruise. No, we don't care about your stupid website. Keep any off-site links in your profile signature - THAT is your advertising space if you absolutely must do it (providing said advert is within the signature limits and forum rules). This rule also covers forum flooding - you may not make two posts in a single topic at once (i.e. double-posting) and create no more than 3 topics at once in each forum. That's spamming.

3. Keep it PG13
You know the deal - no nudity and no depiction of controlled or illegal contraband etc. The latter is a matter of law rather than forum rules. Also whilst we won't slap you on the wrist for swearing like your mum does, we won't tolerate excessive swearing. There's swearing, then there's just being a little f*****.

4. No illegal topics, pictures etc
I'm responsible for this forum and i'll make you responsible for the messages you post. If I get done for having kiddy porn pictures on my forums, i'll kick seven shades of crap out of you. Keep your paedophilia, drug addictions and so on OFF this forum or you'll be banned. No warning, no second chances, because contravention of this rule puts me at risk a lot more than it does you.

5. No Hacking
On record, you'll be logged and dealt with to the full extent of the Law as hacking constitutes as a criminal offence. Off record? I'd rather not say, but it won't be pretty.

6. No Trolling
Registering for the sole purpose of acting like a little bastard will get you banned.

7. No Harassment
The Private Message system is there so that friends can contact eachother online and chat with messages not made public. It is not there for you to bully or harass other users. Reports of such will be investigated and the people involved will be dealt with accordingly.

8. No Forum Abuse
Signature size limits are currently set at 400 x 200 pixels. Don't exceed this. Don't post large amounts of images or other media without tagging the topic title with a warning.

Finally, the Administrator's decision is final.

Punishments
In every case of rule-breaking comes a different level of severity. As such, we will deal with each instance individually. Break a rule and you'll receive one of these four:

1. Unofficial Warning
This isn't a warning so much as a friendly message from a forum administrator or Moderator highlighting what you did wrong and a reminder not to do it again. This won't go on record and is our preferred way of doing things since we don't want to come over all strict.

2. Official Warning
If we feel the rule break was deliberate we may issue you with an official warning that will go on record. Three strikes and you will be put on probation.

3. Probation
For repeat offenses or more severe cases you'll be put on probation. This limits your account, disabling you from creating topics and such. It will last for seven days. Break a rule during probation and you're out. Hopefully this will never be the case.

4. Banning
We hope we never have to ban a member, but unfortunately it may become necessary to do so. In fairness if you manage to get banned you must have really wanted it badly.

With all the scary stuff said, we hope you enjoy your stay here at Driven Magazine UK and look forward to seeing you on the forums!

Ash Horne and Pei Lee
Driven Magazine UK Administrators.
